Skins' Top Pick Due in Traffic Court Next Week

The Washington Redskins' top draft pick is due in court next week on a reckless driving charge, The Washington Post reported.

Offensive lineman Trent Williams was ticketed on the Dulles Toll Road in June, according to court records.

Williams, 22, was pulled over at 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, June 6. He was allegedly going 90 mph in a 55-mile-per-hour zone, according to the ticket written by Fairfax Officer Amanda Bronson, as he headed west on the toll road near the Fairfax County Parkway.

Williams' lawyer told The Post his client is looking forward to court. The Redskins' senior vice president declined to comment.

If convicted, Williams could have his license suspended for six months.
