After being turned down by Prince Fielder, the Nationals turned their attention from offense to pitching, and have apparently landed free agent starter Edwin Jackson, according to CBSSports.com.

Baseball insider Jon Heyman reported via Twitter that the Nats and Jackson agreed on a one-year deal for between $8 million and $12 million.
