Remember Sinead O'Connor? Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3? Demi Moore in G.I. Jane? No? Well, don't bother. The next bald babe's got 'em beat.

Miss Virginia Tara Wheeler is offering to shave her head for charity, Teds Take reports. The rabid Washington Capitals fan is scheduled to shave her head at Crystal City Sports Pub on April 11 to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

Bald is not really the hairstyle you expect from a beauty queen, but Wheeler never was your typical pageant contestant. Remember, she played goalie for Penn State's women's ice hockey team.

As an ambassador for the Children's Miracle Network, Wheeler has befriended many children suffering from cancer, including young girls who've lost their hair due to treatment. A portion of the donated proceeds will benefit the Children's Miracle Network and the Miss Virginia Scholarship fund.

However, the shaving event will only take place if $500,000 is raised, so go to St. Baldrick's and donate if you want to see Miss Virginia take it all off.
