Leonsis Offers a Stunning “Dougie” Preview

Ted Leonsis offered a sneak preview of his potential Dougie dancing this morning at WTOP.

Sure, John Wall's rendition of the Dougie during his home debut introduction was chockfull of smooth shoulder rolls and delightful hair-stroking. You couldn't not love it.

But leave it to Leonsis to monetize, monetize, monetize. Last week, the owner of Wizards urged fans to sign up for season tickets. "We will continue to invest in the team and improve the team. We will have star power. We will have an arc of growth," he blogged on Nov. 4.

Yes, an arc of growth! This is important, OK?

And Leonsis is only stepping it up now. "It kind of went viral, and so now I guess I have to  live up to my promise," he told WTOP this morning. "So if we do sell out a game -- we haven't come close yet -- but if we sell out a game, I will live up to my commitment and do the Dougie."
