Haynesworth Not Happy — Again

Big Al isn't pleased with third-quarter PT

Albert Haynesworth entered Saturday night's preseason game against the Ravens in the third quarter. And after the game he voiced his displeasure with the move by the Redskins' coaching staff.

Haynesworth said he was upset to be playing in the third quarter after most of the starters were already pulled from the game at halftime.

"I'm a ninth-year pro," Haynesworth said. "I don't think I should be in there in the third quarter."

Haynesworth, who missed three practices this week due to what was described as an "illness," "headaches" and "dehydration," also lashed out about his symptoms.

"I was told I had 'headaches'," Haynesworth said while making quote marks with his fingers. Haynesworth said there was more to it than that, but wouldn't elaborate. He continually said media members would have to ask the team for more detail.

Haynesworth did say he thought it was an effort to "make them look good and make me look bad" -- in other words continued punishment for him missing the team's offseason workouts.

"Next year I'm not coming either," Haynesworth said.

"It's all right. I'm a football player. I know i can still play the game," he continued.
