The NBC journalist is one of the most powerful people in media since he was tapped to replace the late Tim Russert as moderator of "Meet the Press." On Monday, he will be the master of ceremonies at the Washington Nationals' home opener against the Philadelphia Phillies.
While Gregory is hot, the Nats most certainly are not. Following Sunday's 8-5 loss in Atlanta, the Nats are a big fat donut for 6 to start the season.
Luckily, for them, though, the world champion Phillies have looked like cupcakes this season, too. They were 2-3 heading into their Sunday game against the Colorado Rockies.
The next NBC Washington PNC Bank Community Shred is scheduled for June 16, 2012.
