Curly “W” Gets Bigger Role in New Nats Unis

It's time to buy the replica jersey of your favorite Washington Nationals players -- again. For the third time in five years, the Nationals have changed their uniforms.

The latest home uniform features the curly "W" on the left breast instead of the team name.  The move could be seen as a stylistic change, or it could just lessen the chances of spelling "NATIONALS" wrong.

Tyler Clippard, Ian Desmond, Ivan Rodriguez, Drew Storen, Ryan Zimmerman, Jordan Zimmermann and general manager Mike Rizzo showed off the new look at a fashion show at Nationals Park Wednesday evening, Nationals.com reported.

You can get your own at Nationals.com or, beginning Thursday, at the Nationals Park Team Store on Half Street. Players will be there greeting fans and signing autographs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

The Nationals last changed their unis in 2008.
