Cooley Corresponds for Ochocinco News

Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley figured out how to get to the Super Bowl while playing for a Dan Snyder-owned organization: Sharpen your reporting skills and tag along with Chad Ochocinco.

The media-savvy Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver plans to attend news conferences and parties leading up to the title game in Miami, gathering insights for his array of social networks.

Ochocinco started the Ochocinco News Network with Motorola last fall and it was just his reporting that fueled it through the season, Redskins Insider reported. For Super Bowl week, Ochocinco is getting help from Cooley, Ravens Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice and Cardinals Pro Bowl defensive lineman Darnell. They'll be peppering the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints with questions and filing reports throughout the week.

OCNN has a spot reserved along Radio Row at the Super Bowl Media Center and will be out in force during Media Day on Tuesday, interviewing Super Bowl participants. All four players were at the Media Center on Monday afternoon, shooting promos for the fledging "news network."

The news team also has its own customized OCNN van and NFL press credentials, according to Motorola.

Cooley's blog is proof he's got the right humor and personality to play ball with Ochocinco.
