Redskins' Daniel Won't Make No. 3

Redskins in the market for No. 3 quarterback

It looks like the Washington Redskins are looking for a new No. 3 quarterback.

According to Redskins Insider Jason Reid, rookie Chase Daniel will not make the Redskins' final 53-man roster.

And Colt Brennan is out as a No. 3 QB as well, after being placed on the season-ending injured reserve list because of a hip injury.

The team has until Saturday at 4 p.m. to cut 22 players from its roster, as well as choose which 53 Redskins will play against the New York Giants next week.

This year, the Redskins appear poised to carry one more running back than a season ago, according to The Washington Post.

But coach Jim Zorn is keeping his decisions to himself for now.

"Sometimes there's guys that are even, and we're having to make a decision on how we feel about two players that you see very, very close," Zorn said. "...It's a very difficult puzzle to complete."
