Kwame Brown's Chief of Staff Resigns

The chief of staff to the chairman of the D.C. Council has resigned.

Kwame Brown on Friday announced the departure of Nicole Streeter from his office. He said in a statement that Streeter was an important part of his transition from at-large Council member to
chairman, and expressed gratitude for her service.

Brown said legislative director Megan Vahey will serve as acting chief of staff.
