David Abrams, a spokesman for Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold, said Leopold was subpoenaed Wednesday by the State Prosecutor, asking for his schedule from 2008 to present, relating to the question of misuses of government resources.
"The county executive is fully complying with any and all requests by the State Prosecutor's Office," Abrams said.
An attorney for members of Leopold's security detail said he is negotiating an immunity deal that would let his clients provide information without the threat of prosecution in a probe of Leopold.
Leopold admitted earlier this week that members of his security detail helped him during his campaign last year when he was recovering from back surgery.
