A Florida man facing federal explosives charges was granted a request for bond after a judge said he did not pose a threat to his community, NBC News reported.

Police said Brandon Russell, 22, was keeping materials used to make bombs at his Florida apartment, where they also found white supremacist propaganda and a framed photo of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. And a criminal complaint alleges that, on neo-Nazi chat rooms, Russell had threatened to kill people and bomb infrastructure.

But U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas McCoun III wrote that he was "unable to conclude there is clear and convincing evidence that Defendant represents a threat to any other person and the community should he be released."

An attorney for Russell declined to comment to NBC.
