Five Bodies Recovered in Rubble of Annapolis Mansion, One Remains Unaccounted For

A fifth body was found in the rubble of a multimillion-dollar mansion in Annapolis that burned to the ground earlier this week.

Four others were found earlier this week, and officials say one person remains missing.

The relatives of the six family members unaccounted for following Monday's fire urged people to take time for their loved ones as they released the names of the kin believed to be killed in the blaze.

"Life is fragile. Make time today to embrace your loved ones," the statement from the Boone and Pyle families read.

The families released the names of the four children believed to be inside the home with their grandparents, Don and Sandra Pyle, at the time of the fire: Alexis Boone, 8; Kaitlyn Boone, 7; Charlotte Boone, 8; and Wesley Boone, 6.

Alexis and Kaitlyn are the daughters of Randy and Stacey Boone, while Charlotte and Wesley are the children of Clint Boone and his ex-wife and Eve Morrison. The family says Clint and Randy are the sons of Sandra Pyle and the stepsons of Don Pyle.

Although there is no sign of foul play, the fire is being handled as a crime scene because there is no indication how or where the fire started and there are no witnesses.

Fire officials say the home did not have a sprinkler system. An alarm monitoring company and a neighbor who saw flames reported the fire in the 900 block of Childs Point Road in Annapolis about 3:30 a.m. Monday, according to Capt. Russ Davies, spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

The families said in a statement that they "are blessed that so many family, friends, and neighbors have come together for us in our time of need."
