A Southern California man allegedly groped a woman at Saturday's Beyonce-Jay Z concert at the Rose Bowl, and when her companion objected, he is accused of biting the end of the boyfriend's finger off.
Roberto Alcaraz-Garnica, 25, of San Diego, was arrested at the Rose Bowl and charged Tuesday with with one felony count each of mayhem and battery with serious bodily injury and one misdemeanor count of battery. The mayhem charge involves disabling or disfiguring of another person.
Alcaraz-Garnica grabbed a woman's breast, and bit off her boyfriend's fingertip in the ensuing tussle, according to a Pasadena police statement to the Pasadena Star-News.
Jail records show he was held in lieu of a $100,000 bail. If convicted, he faces eight years in state prison.
About 55,000 people attended the sold-out concert at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, and police arrested eight people for public intoxication and two scalpers.
A second concert was held Sunday.
