Occupy D.C. Protesters Arrested

Group set up tents on sidewalk in Northwest

Think the Occupy D.C. movement is dead? Think again.

Two Occupy protesters were arrested late Monday night after setting up tents on a sidewalk outside a Merrill Lynch office on 15th Street NW.

At first, officers told the protesters to leave. When the group did not budge, the officers pulled them out of their tents and took them into custody.

It’s not clear what charges they face.

Hundreds of protesters were evicted from camps at McPherson Square in downtown Washington in early February.
