Alarms clocks went off early Saturday morning for computer geeks and people who love cool gadgets. Why? The iPad made its debut.
Many sleepy-eyed, coffee-drinking, Apple lovers have been waiting on the iPad since it was announced several months ago.
A teacher waiting in line told News4 that he's excited about using the device in the classroom.
"The possibility for the iPad [is] endless," he said. "I know that sounds silly but I'm in education and we are using the iTouches in the classroom for portions of reading instructions and having the larger format of the iPad is just going to be wonderful."
Analysts forecast that Apple will sell around one million iPad's by the end of June and around five million by the end of the year.
