Prince William County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed a bank in Woodbridge Saturday morning.

Investigators say a man walked into the Burke & Herbert bank branch located at 14008 Smoketown Road and passed the teller a note demanding money. The man was given an undisclosed amount before fleeing the scene. Authorities say the man may have used a vehicle to get away. No weapon was reported, and no one appears to have been injured.

The suspect in the case is described as standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. Police initially described him as a white man, but have since said his race couldn't be determined by witnesses. The man has a medium build and a tear drop tattoo by his left eye.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a white turtleneck, and jeans. In addition to the suspect, police are on the lookout for a vehicle described as a black, two-door "sports-type" car, similar to a Toyota Celica. It is not known if the vehicle is actually a Toyota Celica.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call (703) 670-3700 or 1-866-411-8477.
