Police say they believe the same woman is responsible for two credit card thefts in the Montgomery County area.

According to Montgomery County Police, a 48-year-old Bethesda woman realized her credit card was missing from the backpack she kept on her wheelchair June 30. July 10, a 51-year-old woman was eating with her family in Aspen Hill, when she realized the purse she left on her chair was stolen. In that case, the thief charged approximately $11,000 on her cards.

The suspect is described as a black woman, possibly wearing a wig.

If you recognize the woman, contact police at 1-866-411-TIPS.
