Woman Surrenders in Weekend Stabbing

A 32-year-old Northeast D.C. woman surrendered herself to police Tuesday in connection with a weekend stabbing at a grocery store.

Police were called to the 7 Food Store in the 1800 block of Benning Road NE just before 11 a.m. Saturday for a stabbing. There, they found a 36-year-old woman suffering from a stab wound. She was hospitalized and listed in critical condition.

Tuesday, Quantrice Jones turned herself in to police in connection with the stabbing and is facing aggravated assault charges.
