A woman was hit by a dump truck then stuck under it Tuesday in Northwest, police said.
According to officials, police were sent out to the intersection of 4th Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW just after 2 p.m. The woman was conscious and breathing after the incident, but the major crash unit was dispatched.
The driver of the truck stayed on scene, and the woman was hospitalized.
