    A woman was killed in a hit and run Thursday night along Route 202 in Landover, Md. Police need the public's help in finding the car involved. News4's Prince George's County Bureau reporter Zachary Kiesch has the latest.

    Police are investigating a hit-and-run after a woman was struck while walking in the area of Landover Road and John Hanson Highway in Landover, Md., Thursday night.

    The woman, identified as 42-year-old Danielle Williams of southeast D.C., apparently was attempting to cross Landover Road outside of the crosswalk about 9:30 p.m., police said.

    The striking vehicle was described as a gold SUV, possibly a Ford, police said.
