A man has been arrested in connection with his wife's death after police found her body on a sidewalk in the Alexandria section of the county Monday morning.

A neighbor heard Yesenia Membrano-Diaz, 35, screaming outside a townhouse community on Diablo Court just before 5 a.m. Monday. Police say the neighbor looked outside, saw Membrano-Diaz on the ground and called police.

When officers arrived, they found the victim unresponsive on the sidewalk.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hours later, police arrested her husband, Ricardo Molina-Martinez, in connection with her death.

Molina-Martinez has not been charged, but police say a murder warrant has been obtained.
