Police are looking for the woman who slashed another woman on board a Metrobus Saturday morning.

A Metro spokesperson said the attack happened shortly before noon aboard the U8 bus in the 4600 block of Benning Road. The spokesperson said that two women got into a fight and one slashed the other on the head. The victim's injuries are not life-threatening and she was being taken to a local hospital at last report.

A description of the suspect was not immediately available, though police say the woman fled toward the area of the Benning Park Apartments. The spokesperson said that the bus on which the attack happened would be taken out of circulation so that officers can view the surveillance video.
