Montgomery County police detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a 28-year-old female in Gaithersburg, Md.
Wednesday morning police went to an apartment complex in the 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard after a report of a sexual assault.
Police determined that at approximately 9:40 a.m., an unknown man followed the woman into a laundry room in an apartment building. Once inside the man brandished a knife and sexually assaulted the victim, police said. After the assault, the attacker fled the area.
At this time police only have a vague description of the man.
