D.C. police are on the hunt for a man who severely beat and sexually assaulted a woman.
A man assaulted the woman behind an apartment building in the 1900 block of Minnesota Avenue SE about midnight Thursday, police said.
The woman is in critical but stable condition. She suffered a broken jaw among other injuries.
Police have not released any information on a motive or a description of the suspect.
