Woman Robbed Leaving Coffee Shop in Centreville

Police are looking for a man who approached a woman when she was leaving a coffee shop and robbed her in Centreville.

Police say a 44-year-old woman was robbed leaving a coffee shop in the Old Centreville Crossing Shopping Center on Braddock Road in Fairfax County.

According to officials, the victim said she entered her car around 4:30 p.m. Thursday when she noticed a man standing by the passenger side outside of her car. Police say he took out a gun and demanded she open the door and give him her purse.

The suspect got away with her valuables then ran from the scene.

He is described as a white man in his 20s with a reddish, scruffy beard, standing 5'11" tall. At the time, he was wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants.
