    Police in Fairfax County are investigating an attempted abduction and sexual assault in the Chantilly, Va., area.

    A 37-year-old woman told police a man with a weapon grabbed her while she was walking in the 4100 block of Elmwood Street about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

    She said he moved her a short distance and tried to sexually assault her before running away.

    During the attack the man concealed his face.

    The woman did not need medical attention.
