Woman Killed, 2 Others Hurt in Md. Crash

Anne Arundel County police say a woman is dead and two people are injured in a two-car collision in Odenton.

It happened about 12:40 p.m. Friday near Md. Route 3 South and Md. Route 32. Police say a Subaru Legacy driven by 73-year-old Celeste Leffingwell Loftin of Annapolis merged from Route 32 West onto Route 3 South.

Officers say the Subaru merged into the path of a Nissan Murano driven by 53-year-old Terry Lynn Delorge of Glen Burnie. Police say the cars collided and came to a stop in the road.

Loftin was pronounced dead at the scene. Delorge and a passenger in her car, 63-year-old Thomas Warren Delorge of Glen Burnie, were taken to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The accident is under investigation.
