A woman hit by a Montgomery County Ride-On Bus has died.
The accident happened Thursday evening in the pouring rain.
63-year-old Jila Hamidieh was trying to walk across Rockville Pike when Montgomery County police say the bus hit her when it tried to turn right from Halpine Road.
Rescuers took Hamidieh to the hospital where she later died.
Police are still investigating this accident and have not determined who was at fault.
