A 43-year-old woman who had worked as a cleaner was found dead Monday morning at a Glen Burnie medical building.
Crews responded to the Medical Arts Centre of Glen Burnie on Hospital Drive just before 9 a.m. for a reported death.
There, they found the body of Christie L. Pelland of Pasadena, Md. Police say she appeared to have upper body trauma.
Pelland had worked as a cleaner for Spiritual Cleaning within the Centre, and was found inside a gynecologist's office.
Police say she appeared to have been targeted.
