Woman Dead, Man Injured in Fairfax Shooting: Police

A woman is dead and a man is injured after a shooting in Fairfax, Virginia, police said.

Officers received a call about the shooting in a home in the 9200 block of Okla Drive just before 3:30 p.m. Friday and found 51-year-old Donna Pentek dead when they arrived. They also found a 53-year-old man who had also been shot, police said. He is expected to survive.

The shooting appears to be a domestic incident, police said.

Neighbors told News4 the woman and man involved in the shooting are a couple and their 13-year-old daughter made the call to 911. They said the couple also has a young son.

Officers are conducting interviews, canvassing the neighborhood and gathering information while crime scene technicians are processing the scene, police said Friday night.
