A Maryland woman is facing a host of charges after a series of drug busts.
Amorita Quintanilla, 25, of Wilcox Lane in Silver Spring, is accused of possessing marijuana, cocaine and ammunition. Charges were filed against her Tuesday.
Last October authorities found more than a pound of pot hidden in her car in the parking lot of the Jessup Correctional Facility while she was there to visit her inmate husband, police said.
During a body cavity search, police found more marijuana in a plastic bag.
Later, during surveillance of Quintanilla's home, which is located in a drug-free school zone near John F. Kennedy High School, investigators witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction, police said.
Investigators said they witnessed Patrick Berlin walk out of the house and appear to sell drugs to a man in a vehicle.
Berlin went back inside the Quintanilla residence, then exited it through woods near the high school.

Police took Berlin into custody, recovering about six ounces of crack cocaine packaged in individual baggies, a loaded .45 caliber semiautomatic pistol, marijuana and a digital scale, authorities said.
Armed with a search warrant, detectives entered the Quintanilla house and discovered $3,000, two boxes of ammunition and a bullet-proof vest, police said.
Quintanilla is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess ammunition.
Previous convictions for Quintanilla include a 2000 burglary for which she was sentenced to three years in prison.
She's facing at least ten years in prison if convicted of the new charges against her.
