Quaneisha Domonique Torres is in custody and facing an attempted homicide charge after allegedly running down her husband in a van and assaulting him as he tried to crawl away, Fredericksburg police said.
A van traveling the wrong way on Dixon Street struck a guardrail about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, witnesses said. They then saw a man crawling out from under the van, at which point a woman got out of the van and began kicking the man repeatedly.
The man, identified only as Torres' 31-year-old husband, was taken to Mary Washington Hospital for multiple injuries sustained during the attack.
Torres was arrested and now faces a charges of attempted first-degree homicide.
She is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bail.
