Virginia Woman, 19, Accused of Sending Child Pornography

It is the second time the woman has been under a federal investigation

A 19-year-old Virginia woman accused of sending child pornography to an undercover FBI agent was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security a year ago for allegedly sending porn.

Pamela Wilson, of Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with distribution of child pornography on Wednesday, police said.

Wilson, a student at Northern Virginia Community College, used to work at a daycare before the Department of Homeland Security started investigating her for porn she allegedly sent to Arizona, prosecutors said. She was not charged in that investigation, but was warned to quit her job.

According to an affidavit obtained by News4, an undercover FBI agent said Wilson messaged him that she was interested in performing sexual acts with his 9-year-old daughter.

Wilson told the undercover agent she was uncomfortable sending him pornography, but she uploaded files to her Dropbox and sent him the link and her password, the affidavit said. The agent said he found more than 100 videos of adults abusing young children in the Dropbox.

Prosecutors said the Dropbox is probable cause to charge Wilson with distribution of child pornography, however, Wilson's attorney has argued there was no distribution because that requires a transfer of possession. The defender said there also has to be an intent to transfer possession.

U.S. Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey said he is concerned if the pornography was distributed from Virginia to D.C. Harvey said he has never seen a case like this before.
