Winning Mega Millions Tickets: Close, But No Cigar

We'll find out Monday if the second largest Mega Millions game is really over.
Two tickets matched the winning numbers for an estimated $333 million Mega Millions jackpot. Unfortunately, neither was sold in Maryland or Virginia.
The Bronx ticket was bought at Fordham Convenience Store on West Fordham Road, while the other instant millionaire picked his or her ticket up in San Gabriel, Calif.
That's $166.5 million dollars per winner, if they claim their prize. Otherwise, the jackpot will jump to $430 million -- the largest ever.
Lottery offices are closed for the weekend, so the winners won't be discovered until Monday. But with several New York transplants in the D.C. area, you never know if one might be related...
The winning numbers -- 37,1,17,31,54; Mega Ball, 31 -- were drawn Friday night in Atlanta.
Mega Millions tickets are sold in Georgia, Illinois, California, Texas, Washington, Virginia, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Maryland and Massachusetts.
The new Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $12 million for Tuesday's drawing.
