The Giants destination for Monday is a government building and not a stadium.

Five Virginians are among more than 140 people selected from across the country to participate in the summer White House internship program.

The White House says the program provides an opportunity to gain professional experience and build leadership skills. Interns work in departments ranging from the Offices of Cabinet Affairs and the Chief of Staff to the Offices of the First Lady and the Vice President. Other departments include the Presidential Personnel Office and the National Economic Council.

The interns from the state are: Hannah Chartoff of Fairfax, Evelynn Escobar-Thomas of Woodbridge, Alexander Preve of Charlottesville, Kathryn Stolp of Vienna and Ross Svenson of Ashburn.
