If it looks like a cop, talks like a cop, and walks like a cop ... is it a cop?  Not exactly.

Police in Prince George’s County arrested two men Sunday who they said were posing as officers.

Police said the men approached two people in the 7900 block of 15th Avenue in Langley Park early Sunday morning, displayed badges, and then began to assault the victims.  They eventually took their victims' wallets and fled.

Officers caught up with the men a short time later.  Daniel Baylock, 24, of Hyattsville, Md., and Kennedy Ventura, 20, of northwest Washington, were arrested and charged with robbery and second-degree assault.

In addition to having uniforms and badges, the victims told police the men also drove an SUV with flashing lights.

Police are worried there may be others who came in contact with Baylock and Ventura.  Anyone with information should call Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section at 301-699-2601.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
