Water Main Break Sends Water Gushing Down Bethesda Road

A broken water main sent water gushing down a Bethesda, Maryland, road Wednesday morning.

The 74-year-old pipe broke on Goldsboro Road Wednesday morning.

Chopper4 flew over the scene as water flowed down the tree-lined street.

The main was repaired Wednesday afternoon. Seven customers affected by the break have water again but the hole still needs to be patched, according to WSSC.

Only one lane of Goldsboro Road is open. Police are alternating the direction of north and southbound traffic.
