WWII Planes Fly Over National Cemetery, Pentagon

Twenty four World War II vintage aircraft flew over the DC area Sunday in tribute of Disabled American Veterans.

The flight originated from the Culpeper Air Fest and traveled over the Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon. The planes were T-6 Texan aircraft, used to train pilots during World War II.

The aircraft is also used at air shows and in movies to represent other types of planes.

Several people in the area reported seeing the planes as they made their voyage.
