Volunteers were recruited to join the search for a University of Virginia student missing since Sept. 13.
The Virginia Department of Emergency Management says volunteers were asked to search Sunday for Hannah Graham.
Police have charged 32-year-old Jesse Matthew with the disappearance of the 18-year-old sophomore from northern Virginia. He has been charged with abduction with intent to defile, or sexually assault.
The Sunday search took place at Walnut Creek Park in Albemarle County. Police have scheduled a 5:30 p.m. press conference to talk about the day's activities.
