Shomari Stone reports on the crime that has a neighborhood on edge.

Prince William County police are looking for a man in a home invasion and sexual assault of a teenager in Woodbridge, Va.

After 3 p.m. Monday, a 15-year-old girl answered her door in the 4400 block of Echo Court and found a man claiming to work for a cable company, police said. She told him the person he was looking for didn’t live there and he left.

He returned a short time later, threatening the girl if she would not let him inside.

Once inside, the man allegedly showed what looked like a knife, took the girl to a bedroom and sexually assaulted her, police said. During the attack the victim began to scream and kick, and the man fled.

The girl contacted police immediately, but they were unable to locate the man in the area.

He was described as being in his 20s with medium build and wearing a gray jacket, red shirt and black pants.
