Witnesses Sought After Head-On Loudoun County Crash That Killed Mother, Injured 4-Year-Old

Virginia State Police are looking for anyone who witnessed a crash in Loudoun County last week that killed a mother and seriously injured her 4-year-old daughter. 

The crash occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at about 7:20 a.m. in Brambleton, Virginia. 

Police say that an 18-year-old driving a Volkswagen CC southbound on Belmont Ridge Road near Legacy Park Drive went over a curb, crossed the median and hit a Subaru head-on. 

Ammie K. Cho, of Aldie, Virginia, was killed in the crash. She was 34. Her 4-year-old daughter, who was in a car seat, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagen was hospitalized with serious injuries. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.

Several witnesses have come forward already, police say, but officers are looking for more.
