Third Suspect in Va. Home Invasion Arrested

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested the last remaining suspect in a Feb. 10 attempted home invasion robbery in Sterling, Va., that ended with one suspect dead and another seriously injured.

The suspect, Samuel Thomas Eaton, 27, was arrested Tuesday after a citizen reported seeing him riding his bicycle on Sterling Blvd, authorities said.

Eaton was charged with robbery, burglary, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, authorities said.

The robbery attempt occurred at a home in the 1200 block of E. Kennedy Drive. A resident shot two of the three robbers, including Anthony D. Miles, 29, of Manassas, who died after being taken to a hospital.

The second injured robber, 32, survived and is likely facing charges further along in his recovery.

Two women, Rebecca Hook, 27, of Lovettsville, and Whitney Lasik, 24, of Sterling, were also charged as accessories after the fact.
