A Virginia man is not facing murder charges following the death of his 2-month-old daughter as police originally reported.
Police arrested 21-year-old Francis Reed, of Vienna, Monday and charged him with child abuse.
His daughter, Amber, was hospitalized Saturday afternoon. She died Monday after her father’s arrest.
Reed remains charged with child abuse as the investigation continues. More charges could follow.
