A Virginia high school drama teacher accused of secretly recording students undressing is free on bond.
Prosecutors successfully opposed bond for Raphael Schklowsky, but he won his appeal and posted $25,000 bond.
Neither Schklowsky nor his wife answered questions as he was released Monday.
Schklowsky first was arrested in April for unlawful filming after a live-in au pair told police she found a tiny recording device in an air vent in her room.
Then in May, felony child porn possession charges were added when investigators got a look at some of the videos and seized more than 30 recording devices.
Last month, police broke the news many of the girls in the video appeared to be students at Herndon High School, where Schklowsky taught.
Police said they’ve now counted 8,000 videos on Schlowsky’s devices.
Schlowsky is barred from contacting victims or being on any school property. He may not use the internet or any camera devices.
The judge was told he’s entering the KeyStone Center Extended Care Unit in Pennsylvania. Its website describes it as a treatment center for sexually compulsive behavior.
Schklowsky remains suspended without pay from Fairfax County Public Schools.
He is scheduled to be back in court in August.
