Police are investigating a violent crash in Prince George's County.

It happened this morning on Route 50 in Bowie.

Police said a man driving along the road swerved to avoid hitting a deer.  That forced a driver of a SUV behind it to swerve and crashed into a tree.

A woman in the SUV was hurt when a pile of tools inside the vehicle hit her.  The tools were home renovation equipment, including a table saw.

The victim's name and condition are not being released at this time.  No other injuries were reported in the accident.
