Video Released of Person of Interest in NW Attempted Sex Assault

Investigation into January 16 incident

A surveillance video in an attempted first-degree sexual assault investigation has just been released by District police.

The assault happened in the 3200 block of 16th Street, NW around 2:43 am on Monday, January 16, 2012.

The footage shows a person of interest as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s, approx. 5’4” to 5’6” tall, medium build, with black hair and brown eyes and a clean shaven appearance. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
