Va. Teen Stabbed Walking to Class

Police say victim knew her attackers

A 17-year-old girl was stabbed Tuesday morning on her walk to class, police said.

It happened in the 4400 block of Elan Pl in Annandale, Va.

Neighbors said they heard cries for help. The victim's father told News4's Pat Collins his daughter came running back to the house screaming.

"She said, 'Dad, my life's finished, my life's finished. I'm all cut!'" he said.

The girl's father said two men were involved, both of them wearing a mask. He said one of them held his daughter and the other slashed her face.

Investigators said the girl knew her attackers, and the victim's father believes it involves an online encounter she had with a man. He said his daughter repeatedly rejected the man's advances.

Fairfax County police are treating this as a domestic incident. So far, no one has been arrested.
