Va. Teen Killed En Route to Prom Party: Police

Four others suffer serious injuries

    A King George, Va. teenager died and four other youths suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash, State Police said.

    The youths were on their way to a party after the King George County High School prom.

    Virginia State Police spokesman T. J. Molnar said passenger Anthony Feather, 16, died Sunday at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

    Feather and three others weren't wearing seat belts and were ejected from a sport utility vehicle that ran off Route 218 and struck a utility pole about 1 a.m.

    Molnar said speed was a factor in the crash, which is still being investigated.
