Oops: Virginia Lottery Reports Number Mix-Up

Hopefully you didn't tear up your Virginia Lottery ticket from Wednesday just yet.

The Commonwealth's lottery agency said a number was incorrectly entered into the system in Wednesday night's “Win For Life” drawing, and now it's trying to end the confusion.

The numbers that were drawn were 3, 6, 8, 17, 21, 30 and Free Ball 31.  But the agency reported the 6 as a 9.

Oops.

So, to make up for the gaffe, they will honor tickets with both sets of numbers.

Neither set of numbers matched the top prize, which is $1,000 a week for life.

But several smaller prizes are still available.  So check your tickets -- if you still have them.
